When creating an illustration, the artist must not only understand the text correctly but also find a way to convey its meanings, moods, and emotional states. This is by no means an easy task. In this respect, illustration is closely related to poster design, as, alongside its artistic dimension, the way information and content are communicated through a carefully considered visual message is of great importance.
Illustration is an exceptionally demanding field of art, which is why only a few artists achieve mastery in this form of artistic expression. At the same time, illustration encompasses a very broad range of creative practices, as it is addressed to an extremely diverse audience — from the youngest viewers, including children only a few years old, to adults. As a result, it becomes more than just an artistic form; it is also a universal means of communicating content, emotions, and ideas through images.
